Your windows are hard to open, the rooms feel drafty and the first replacement quote is more than you expected. Vinyl can keep the project within reach, but the window model and the installation method both belong beside the price.
So AllGuard Windows & Doors in Fort Collins, Colorado, publishes $1,000 to $1,800 per window installed for standard vinyl replacements. Larger openings, premium glass and specialty windows fall in a separate tier.
I checked its pricing on October 25, 2026. Below, I will help you count the openings and understand the fitting work before comparing window quotes.
What the Installed Vinyl Window Price Covers
AllGuard’s pricing page gives planning ranges for its work in Northern Colorado. Its final price follows measurements and a check of the installation conditions.
The company describes an installed range as measurement, fitting, sealing or flashing where applicable, and the trim and cleanup specified in the proposal. It still asks homeowners to confirm disposal and finish work.
That matters if one installer includes exterior wrapping and another leaves the old trim for you to repair. Ask for the actual trim material and surfaces included, rather than a promise to finish around the window.
Counting a House Full of Windows
Start with an opening-by-opening list. Note the room, approximate size, opening style and whether you want the same layout. A row of joined windows needs its configuration identified before anyone multiplies a unit price.
Using AllGuard’s standard vinyl range, six windows work out to 6 x $1,000 = $6,000 through 6 x $1,800 = $10,800. For ten, the sums are 10 x $1,000 = $10,000 and 10 x $1,800 = $18,000.
Those calculations assume each opening fits the standard tier. They do not price a new structural opening, hidden rot or a projecting bay as if it were another ordinary window.

If you want to keep a window seat, my bay window replacement guide covers the roof and supports. For small below-grade units or a new escape route, use the basement window guide.
An Insert or a Full-Frame Replacement?
An insert fits inside the retained window frame. Andersen’s installation guidance requires a square frame without rot and explains that the surrounding trim and siding remain.
A full-frame replacement removes the old sash and frame. Andersen identifies rot, an out-of-square frame or a change in size or shape as reasons to consider that method.
I would settle this before discussing the color and grids. Replacing the visible window inside an existing frame and rebuilding around a rough opening leave the installer with different work.

Ask which replacement method each window needs.
Choose the Product Before the Sales Discount
Get the manufacturer, series, dimensions, glass package, frame colors, screens and grids on the order. If a salesperson substitutes another model, ask for the new product details before comparing the revised price.
Vinyl is the frame material, not a complete performance description. Ask for the selected window’s published ratings and warranty, along with the installer’s written responsibility for leaks and fitting problems.
For wood interiors, composite frames and the different Andersen buying routes, my Andersen windows price guide explains those choices. Vinyl-clad wood and an all-vinyl window are different constructions.
Questions Before Ordering Vinyl Replacement Windows
How much is one vinyl window installed?
AllGuard’s Northern Colorado planning range is $1,000 to $1,800 for a standard vinyl replacement installed. Dimensions, glass and fitting conditions determine the quote for an actual opening.
How much would ten standard vinyl windows cost?
At AllGuard’s range, the arithmetic is 10 x $1,000 = $10,000 to 10 x $1,800 = $18,000. Confirm that all ten openings meet the standard scope and that repairs or specialty shapes are separate.
Can a vinyl insert hide a rotten frame?
An insert needs a suitable retained frame. Andersen’s guidance requires no frame rot and a square opening. Have damaged framing assessed before choosing the replacement method.
Does the per-window price include painting and disposal?
Read the installation scope. AllGuard asks homeowners to confirm trim, finish work and disposal. A supplied window price alone does not include every task needed to finish the room and exterior.
