Finding out what something really costs can eat a whole day. Shops hide their prices, one forum says one number, a YouTube video says another, and a Reddit thread says something else again.
We do that digging for you. For every guide we go through shop price lists, forums, Reddit, Quora, Facebook groups and YouTube videos, and check the numbers against each other.
Then we put the answer on one page: the low and the high price first, then what changes it. So you don’t need to sit for hours or days researching. We already did it.
How we research a guide
- We dig through shop price lists, Reddit threads, forums, Quora, Facebook groups and YouTube videos from people who just paid for the same thing.
- We check every number. A price goes in only with its source next to it, and if we cannot check it, it stays out.
- You get the answer in a minute: the price first, then what changes it, and in some guides a small calculator for your own number.
Prices change with time and from town to town, so treat our numbers as a guide and always ask for a written quote before work starts. You can read more on our how we research and price page.
